What we do
Provide emergency medical services including transportation and fire protection to the citizens in Caddo Fire District 5. Our district is located in the southeastern part of Caddo Parish, Louisiana and extends from the Shreveport City limits to the Desoto Parish line and from the Red River to Wallace Lake Road.
Facilities and Equipment
- Four fire stations with two manned and two for storage of apparatus that are retrieved as needed.
- Six engines (pumpers), three water tenders (tankers), One heavy rescue, two medic units (ambulances), one quick response vehicle, two chief cars, plus service cars and trucks.
- Headquarters is located in our Central Station.
