Extrication Class

A Special Thanks to Lloyd's Towing Service for the
Cars Used in this Class

Our Instructor came in a truck that was fully loaded with all kinds of extrication equipment that we all got to use.

The first evalution was for a car that had supposedly crash and wedged under an 18 wheeler's trailer.

The car was first stabilized.

Cameron was selected to be the victim.

The rear window was removed.

The equipment was selected and the instructor showed how to set it up.

The rear post were cut.

Additional cuts were made around the rear window opening.

The roof was elevated.

A spine board was placed under the patient.

The patient was removed from the vehicle.

The 2nd Team suited up.

Many other extrication scenarios were worked. Everyone got a thorough knowledge of how to use the equipment to extricate trapped patients.
